About this opportunity
A free three-month online learning cohort helping African education nonprofits build practical artificial intelligence and machine-learning knowledge and implement Experience AI lessons with teachers and learners. Developed by Raspberry Pi Foundation and Google DeepMind, the programme includes six live virtual peer-learning sessions, self-paced modules, coaching, research-based resources, and practical work on AI, data, bias, misinformation, and AI careers. Selected organizations that successfully complete the course requirements receive an implementation stipend. The programme runs from September through early December 2026, with up to 10 African NGOs expected to participate.
Who should consider it
Education-focused nonprofits and NGOs operating in Africa. Organizations should nominate 2-4 staff members who can commit approximately 15-20 hours over three months, complete asynchronous assignments, attend six live virtual sessions, participate in surveys, and plan implementation with teachers and learners. Participants should be comfortable completing coursework and coaching in English. A child safeguarding policy is requested in the application.
