About this opportunity
Her Startup is accepting applications for the second cohort of its accelerator for women-led technology startups across Africa. The programme is led by KSH Foundation, Tomorrow Foundation and EHA Impact Ventures, with accelerator training delivered by Founder Institute. It is designed to help women founders strengthen their businesses through practical training, access to capital and sustained mentoring.
What selected founders receive
Selected founders will join a 12-week intensive Founder Institute programme with training fees covered and a monthly stipend. Successful graduates can pitch to Her Startup's Investment Committee for convertible, revenue-based financing of up to US$5,000. The programme also provides 12 months of sector-matched mentoring, access to Founder Institute's global network, co-working support and one year of healthcare coverage. Further fundraising support may be available based on performance.
Application process
The online application has six short sections and takes about 25 minutes. Applicants should prepare an identity document, pitch deck, proof of revenue for the previous six months, and company-registration documents showing their role. Eligible applicants must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week during the 12-week accelerator. Founders from Francophone Africa are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applications close on 26 October 2026. The organiser has not stated a closing time or timezone.
Who should consider it
Applicants must be women founders, co-founders or CEOs aged 18–35. The business must be technology-enabled, based in an African country, operating for at least six months, and earning at least US$500 in gross revenue in each of the previous six months. Applicants must be able to commit at least 20 hours per week to the programme. The selection framework also considers the venture's value proposition and limits fintech companies to no more than 20% of the selected cohort.
