Program Manager, AIMS Rwanda

AIMS Rwanda is recruiting a full-time Program Manager to coordinate day-to-day activities at its Kigali Centre of Excellence, including the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program and other donor-funded initiatives. The role provides operational leadership across planning, budgeting, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and reporting, while supporting national and international partnerships, fundraising and the Centre’s long-term sustainability. AIMS is a pan-African network advancing postgraduate mathematical sciences, research and STEM public engagement. This Kigali-based role directly supports Africa’s scientific, educational and economic development.

Applicants should hold a relevant master’s degree and have at least five years of professional experience in program and budget management. Professional project/program management qualifications such as PgMP, PMP or MSP are expected. Candidates should be comfortable with results-based management, monitoring and evaluation, donor reporting, partnership development and multicultural teams. Excellent English is required; French is an advantage. Experience with STEM education and development in Africa is especially relevant.
