adidas Foundation Moving for Change East Africa

Overview The adidas Foundation's Moving for Change call sought international NGOs working with locally based Sport for Development organisations in Ethiopia, Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania and Uganda. The aim was to support collaborative programmes using sport to improve outcomes for underserved young people and communities in East Africa. Partnership approach Applications were expected to be led by an eligible international NGO and developed jointly with locally rooted Sport for Development partners in the target countries. The lead applicant needed to be a formally registered international non-governmental organisation operating independently of government control and working across at least three countries.
