Adaptation & Resilience ClimAccelerator Tanzania 2026

Ennovate Ventures and Anza Entrepreneurs, powered by Climate KIC

Tanzania For Tanzania-based founders and SMEs building practical climate adaptation and resilience solutions Deadline Nov 16, 2026

About this opportunity

The Adaptation & Resilience ClimAccelerator Tanzania is a five-month accelerator for ventures helping people, businesses and communities in Tanzania respond to climate change. It supports practical solutions across three tracks: Food & Water, Coastal & Blue, and Health & Resilience. Selected ventures receive fully covered bootcamps, matched mentorship, business and climate-impact support, investment-readiness guidance, and connections to relevant founders, experts, partners, customers and funders. The programme offers a total of up to €95,000 in non-equity grant funding among 10 selected startups. Financial support is linked to successful completion of the programme. The programme is implemented by Ennovate Ventures and Anza Entrepreneurs, powered by Climate KIC, and funded by the Government of Ireland International Development Programme. Women founders are particularly encouraged to apply. Applicants must complete the official online application by 16 November 2026 at 23:59 East Africa Time. The application asks ventures to explain their solution, target customers and the climate risk they address. Eligible applications will be reviewed and assessed, after which 10 ventures will be selected for the accelerator.

Who should consider it

Applicants must be registered and operating in Tanzania. The venture must address a local climate-related challenge and align with Food & Water, Coastal & Blue, or Health & Resilience. The business must have operated for at least six months, progressed beyond the concept stage, and have at least a prototype ready for testing. A committed founder or management team must be able to participate actively throughout the five-month programme. The venture does not need to be profitable or investor-backed. Applicants working across more than one track must choose the track closest to their primary customer and explain the overlap in the application.
